I am having trouble connecting my Wireless Internet

admin I am trying to connect the wifi for my laptop. My main computer’s disc drive is not working and is slow so I tried to connect it to my laptop. I plugged in the internet wire to my laptop and tried to setup the cd. It said I have limited to no connectivity and when I tried to repair it. It said I need a new IP address. Please explain what I must do and preferably soon. And I ask that you try to simplify it because I am not to good with computers.
Wats is the difference between solid state drive hard drive and reguler hard drives?
March 12th, 2011 admin Normally when solid state hard drive is offered with laptop its like with very low capacity such as 8GB or 60GB but in Normal its up to 1TB.
where i am confuse is does Solid S Hard drive has more data storage capacity even in less GBs what normals had in more GBs.

March 6th, 2011 admin I’m buying a laptop and I don’t know if I should get one 7200rpm drive or 2 drives of 5400rpm setup as RAID 1.
I’ve heard RAID 1 has faster seek response. Is this true?
(Other Info: the laptop is offered by HP and yes, they do have an option of 500GB dual drive that when you buy it, the system sees it as one drive but I’m thinking of changing the configuration and making it RAID 1 to get faster response.)
