What is the best mobile enhancer for communication in remote areas of the Rockies and it must be affordable.?

I have Cingular and Verizon, with external antenna’s. Most cells work great around metro areas. Not where I am. I must have communication. Satelite phones are expensive.

I work in the remote areas of the Rockies. I use a Smooth Talker R.F variable Gain booster. They cost around 300.00 and can hook up to a cigarette lighter in your car, or you can buy a power converter that plugs into any ac outlet.
